The Polish Post is joining in the Moniuszko bicentenary celebrations. On 5 May it will issue 180,000 new stamps featuring M. Brunn's 1882 portrait of Stanisław Moniuszko. The step was designed by
Jarosław Ochendzan. Its face value is 3.30 zloty. The Polish Post will also issue an envelope featuring the title page of Moniuszko's opera The Countess and the composer's signature, and a date stamp.
