The Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra will celebrate Stanisław Moniuszko's bicentenary with a gala concert on 3 May 2019 starring world-famous soprano Aleksandra Kurzak.

Aleksandra Kurzak is an internationally acclaimed, award-winning artist who can boast regular appearances on such prestigious operatic stages as the Teatro alla Scala, Staatsoper Wien, Teatro Real in Madrid or the San Francisco and Los Angeles operas. In 2018 she was awarded the Golden Gloria Artis Medal for Services to Culture (Poland).

The gala's programme also features music by Charles Gounod and Giuseppe Verdi. Yvan Cassar conducts. Tickets and more information.
