In 2015 Artists Joanna Malinowska and C.T. Jasper, curator Magdalena Moskalewicz, conductor Grzegorz Wierus, director Paweł Passini, choreographer Weronika Pełczyńska and principal singers the Poznań Opera company went to the Caribbean to meet Le Poloné – descendants of Polish legionnaires that served with the French Army in the Napoleonic period and were sent to Haiti to put down the Haitian Revolution but changes sides instead – to treat them to a performance of Moniuszko's Halka. The show took place in the winter of 2015 in Cazale and was video recorded.
